Oleificio Zucchi is ready for Summer Fancy Food

Oleificio Zucchi will be one of the Italian protagonists of Summer Fancy Food 2017. The trade show is to take place at Javits Center in New York from 25 to 27 June. It is the most important trade show in North America, and it’s reserved for agri-food sector buyers. The company from Cremona is specialized in the production of own-brand and private label olive oils and seeds oil. It will participate in Summer Fancy Food together with the Italian companies collective promoted by Cremona’s Chamber of Commerce.

Products on display

Oleificio Zucchi will be present at booth 2931 – 2933, where it will present all its own-brand products. The focus will be particularly on Zucchi’s olive oils range. It is a line specifically designed for the American market and adapted to meet the needs of American consumers as for graphics and sizes. All of Zucchi’s oils on display are a result of Italian food excellence, and the Summer Fancy Food’s visitors can taste many different extra virgin oil flavor profiles thanks to a set of professional tastings.

The extra virgin culture

The Italian company goal is to spread a real extra virgin oil culture abroad. The best way to do it is to tell the art of blending: an art in which Oleificio Zucchi has been a pioneer. It’s the creation of unique blends born of a marriage between different oils, made with olives which are different for origin and organoleptic qualities. That’s why during Summer Fancy Food 2017 – and in the days before and following – Oleificio Zucchi’s Blendmasters will take on tour the “Blending Experiences”. These are open to the public events in which participants will be able to learn the secrets of this special “chemistry”, creating their own personal oil as well. The Blending Experiences are to take place on 20 June in Toronto, Canada, at “Aria Restaurant”, on 22 June in Boston at “Mamma Maria” restaurant and on 29 June at “Il Gattopardo” restaurant in New York.

Exports targets

Exports are an important element for our company’s growth, as much as sharing a valuable Italian know-how: the art of making oil using excellent raw materials. Fancy Food is certainly the best place to prove that says Oleificio Zucchi’s Vice President Giovanni Zucchi. We are aiming at a further export sales increase for our olive oil range, both for large scale retail channel and Ho.Re.Ca. And we are proud that USA market is appreciating the quality and the special attention which have been distinguishing our production for 200 years.
