Pastificio Di Martino to debut in Naples International Airport and new openings are coming

Working in close partnership with Gesac – Naples International Airport Management Company – Pastificio Di Martino, owner of the Gragnano brand, has opened a new store with bright modern decor offering “an exciting new shopping experience for customers, and an outstanding product choice and exceptional customer service,” commented the designer Marcello Panza, creative director of the project. The Di Martino family says that the distinctive style of the space reflects the heritage of Italian architecture and painted ceramics. “We have worked in close partnership with Naples Airport to develop this new store and would like to thank them for all their support and involvement. We are very proud to open our first store in Italy and this marks an important ‘next step’ in our growth and expansion strategy” said Giuseppe di Martino, eco of the company.
The company’s aim is to open new stores in Rome and Venice. In 2016, the firm wants to open new shops in Dubai, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, Shanghai, Pechino, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Paris, Monaco and Amsterdam. The Di Martino family are very much looking forward to continuing to work closely with these realities to provide the best possible service to worldwide International Airports and its passengers, whilst helping to promote and support Italian local brands and products. “We have started with Naples,” said Giuseppe di Martino “because it’s our city. And also because Capodichino International Airport counts more than six million travelers every year. It’s a fast growing reality which provides a qualified and comprehensive commercial offer.” Naples International Airport handled 5,584,114 passengers in 2010 and this summer its 25 airlines expect to serve a total of 29 international destinations, plus 50 charter routes and 13 domestic services. Currently the airport operates 19 shops and 12 café and restaurant outlets. The Pastificio Di Martino has always had a strong commitment to foreign markets. In fact, when the Panama Canal opened, in 1915, the products arrived on the west coast of the U.S. Since then, the penetration in global countries has brought the company’s success. In fact, the current data shows 96% of production exported to 37 countries.
