Italy makes center stage at Anuga 2015

For many years the participation of Italian exhibitors at Anuga has remained consistently high. Over 1,000 companies regularly participate at the show, thanks to the good cooperation with the Italian partners, including Federalimentare and Fiere di Parma. But also the commitment of each province contributes to an thorough Italian food and beverage representation at Anuga.
“In particular – adds Thomas Rosolia, ceo of Koelnmesse Italy – in 2013 Anuga clearly showed the variety and expertise of the Italian companies internationally. 1,043 Italian exhibitors were at the show from all sectors and in each hall. The figures for Italian visitors are notable: two years ago we welcomed over 4,500 Italian buyers to Cologne, a new record after the 4,170 visitors recorded in 2011”.
For the 2015 edition Koelnmesse Italy in collaboration with Inalca Food & Beverage is organizing an “Italian Aperitivo”, an evening dedicated to the Italian culinary tradition, which will be in a unique and privileged position where, in collaboration with Food magazine, the “Global Competence in Food – Italian Awards 2015” will be awarded to Italian companies that best represent the Italian style in the world. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to taste a selection of food and wines of our territory. The event is organized by Inalca Food & Beverage, the new Cremonini Group company, specialized in Italian food and drink export.
