Italian Food Awards USA set to come back to New York

The Italian Food Awards USA, dedicated to the most innovative Italian food products in the U.S., are coming back for their sixth edition. Sponsored by Italianfood.net, the international project of Gruppo Food, the Italian Food Awards USA aims to help US retailers and food service operators discover the untapped potential of authentic Italian food.

Winners in each category will be celebrated at ‘The Awards Ceremony’, to be held on June 24 in New York City, featuring an exclusive agenda highlighting the latest Italian F&B trends. Alongside winning companies, international guests, and jurors, the event offers a unique networking space showcasing the global impact of Italian F&B.

THE SELECTION CRITERIA

Italianfood.net will select the most innovative Italian products amongst all nominations and will be evaluated through a two-step process:

The Jury of Experts’ vote: a panel of internationally prominent retailers, chefs, and professional operators in the food service channel will express their unique preference through voting, which will count for 70% of the final ranking.

Sales Performance: the remaining 30% of the final ranking will be determined by analyzing sales performances in the U.S. market for each nominated product for the Italian Food Awards USA.

THE JURY OF EXPERTS

Twelve professionals from the international food business community will be called upon to express their preferences: chefs, retailers, restaurateurs, importers, and distributors from all over the world will be part of the special Jury of Experts.
