Delverde to launch a new range of pasta

Delverde is the first Italian pasta maker to launch a new type of pasta containing 30% chickpeas and 20% flaxseed. The purpose is to offer the consumer a healthy alternative other than gluten-free, and follow the fiber-rich and vegetable protein trend.

“The new pasta contains a considerable amount of these two ingredients”, Luca Ruffini, ceo of Delverde, explains, “they are not just a little extra ingredient. The chickpeas and flaxseed provide the taste and flavor, as well as a much denser texture, which is quite pleasant to chew. We worked hard on the production side to be able to offer premium products with a high gastronomic value, presented in new packaging.”

HOW TO REVITALIZE LONG SHAPED PASTA – In the meantime, Delverde has decided to revitalize its long-shaped pasta, which, despite representing the largest share of consumption, rarely offers new shapes. The novelty is a long-pasta line (presented in 250 g packages), which is presented in the shape of a bird’s nest. It is thick spaghetti without eggs (in more than 10 different shapes) which are even served in single-portions and can be cooked very easily.

NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH HELLO FRESH – Thanks to the new packs, Delverde has become one of the suppliers of Hello Fresh, the startup which delivers food boxes with all the necessary ingredients to prepare a full meal at home. The 250 g packages are ideal for box recipes.
