In a retail environment marked by declining customer loyalty, E.Leclerc continues to assert its dominance in 2025, maintaining its position as the undisputed market leader. According to the latest figures on the French retail market, E.Leclerc records a customer loyalty rate of 31.1%, confirming its strong and resilient relationship with consumers.

The Groupement Mousquetaires ranks second with a 25.9% loyalty rate, distinguishing itself as the only retail group to achieve positive momentum, with a slight increase of +0.1 percentage point compared with previous measurements. This modest gain stands out in a market otherwise characterized by stagnation or decline.

Carrefour completes the top three with a 25.5% loyalty rate. However, despite remaining among the leaders, the group experiences a notable decline compared with its 2023 performance, reflecting the broader challenges facing traditional retailers.

Overall, the data highlights a clear trend: while E.Leclerc and Les Mousquetaires continue to perform strongly, nearly all major retailers are confronting a global erosion of customer loyalty, underscoring the growing difficulty of retaining consumers in an increasingly competitive and price-sensitive market.
