The legendary L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele has officially landed in Poland, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s international expansion. The new restaurant, located at ul. Więzienna 21 in the heart of the medieval city of Wrocław, serves as the primary strategic gateway for the chain to enter the Polish market.
A strategic location in Wrocław
Situated just 50 meters from the famous Rynek Square, the venue is perfectly positioned to serve both residents and the city’s robust tourist flow. The restaurant features a modern, air-conditioned design with capacity for 100 indoor guests across two spacious dining rooms. The focal point is undoubtedly the traditional wood-fired oven, allowing guests to witness the master pizzaioli at work. Additionally, the pizzeria offers an expansive outdoor garden providing seating for an extra 86 customers.

Why Poland?
The choice of Wrocław as the brand’s first Polish destination stems from a precise market vision. According to the administrators of Michele in the World, the city’s demographics were a deciding factor. With a population of nearly 900,000, including approximately 200,000 university students, the city offers a dynamic, youthful, and open-minded environment that aligns perfectly with the brand’s core target audience.
The Neapolitan culinary experience
Francesco De Luca and Alessandro Condurro, CEOs of L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele in the World, expressed strong optimism regarding the debut. Initial marketing campaigns on social media have generated significant positive interest. The menu is a tribute to authentic Neapolitan culinary traditions, emphasizing high-quality ingredients such as Fior di Latte di Agerola, Pecorino Romano PDO, and premium Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. From classic a ruota di carro pizzas to traditional Italian appetizers and desserts, the restaurant aims to bring a genuine taste of Naples to the heart of Lower Silesia.
