DalterFood Group, an Italian leader in the dairy industry, will be among the main exhibitors at Anuga 2025, the world’s largest food and beverage fair, held in Cologne from October 4 to 8.
The company closed 2024 with €176 million in consolidated revenues, up 10.7% year-on-year. With 189 employees and exports to 29 countries, international sales account for 83% of turnover, supported by subsidiaries in the UK and Germany.
According to CLAL data, Italian cheese exports reached 708,000 tons in 2024 (+12%), driven by mozzarella, ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Grana Padano. France, Germany, the US, and the UK remain top importers.
PARMIGIANO REGGIANO AT THE CORE
At the heart of DalterFood’s portfolio is Parmigiano Reggiano, produced in its two mountain dairies. Offerings range from conventional to organic and “Prodotto di Montagna” certified, aged from 12 to over 40 months.
A highlight is the exclusive Parmigiano Reggiano from Pezzata Rossa Italiana, made from the milk of a single cattle breed raised in one mountain farm—certified organic, and “mountain product” certified.
DALTERFOOD: A COMPLETE DAIRY ASSORTMENT
Beyond Parmigiano, DalterFood distributes a wide range of cheeses: Grana Padano, Pecorino Romano, Pecorino Vegetariano, Spinoro, mozzarella, burrata, and gourmet variations such as burrata with basil and buffalo mozzarella with truffle. In step with global trends, DalterFood also offers plant-based alternatives to mozzarella, ricotta, stracciatella, and spreads.
TAILORED SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRY, FOOD SERVICE, AND RETAIL
The Group’s R&D team develops bespoke solutions in cuts, recipes, and packaging. Its range of grated cheese mixes delivers different performances—browning, melting, gratinating—tailored to client needs. Packaging options span 100% recyclable single-dose sachets, maxi formats for industrial use, and resealable retail packs.
SUSTAINABILITY AS A STRATEGIC PILLAR
Sustainability underpins DalterFood’s strategy. The company is transitioning to monomaterial packaging, aiming to phase it in across all consumer and industrial formats. Investments in renewable energy—including photovoltaic plants at dairies and packaging facilities—target 20% self-produced energy by year-end.
The company’s initiatives, covering environmental, social, and HR projects, are detailed in its Annual Sustainability Report, soon in its fourth edition.
At Anuga 2025, DalterFood Group will present its full portfolio, allowing international buyers to test products and explore solutions tailored to their markets.
