Mandara Unveils Buffalo Milk Tomino and Camembert

Mandara, Italy’s leading buffalo mozzarella brand and part of the Lactalis Group, is expanding its product portfolio with a series of premium launches to consolidate its position in the high-end dairy segment. The company has introduced two new cheeses — Tomino di Bufala and Camembert di Bufala — both developed to highlight the distinctive richness of buffalo milk and cater to evolving consumer tastes.

The Tomino di Bufala offers a rounded, aromatic profile and a creamy texture that sets it apart from traditional cow’s milk tomino. Quick to prepare and positioned as a specialty item, it is designed to enrich premium cheese assortments and ensure year-round availability.

The Camembert di Bufala features an ultra-creamy consistency and a sweet, enveloping flavour. Housed in artisanal-inspired packaging, it is aimed squarely at the gourmet segment and positioned as a standout offering in terms of quality and character.

Riding on the continued success of its core mozzarella line, Mandara has also introduced two new formats tailored to the needs of contemporary consumers. The first is a five-pack of 40g Bocconcini, offered in recyclable polypropylene packaging to maximise freshness and convenience while aligning with environmental goals.

The second is a 350g Buffalo Mozzarella format, designed for families and larger gatherings — a move that brings the brand’s premium positioning into the larger, self-service category.
