De Angelis, a key player in the fresh pasta market based in Verona, will showcase its expertise at SIAL 2024 (October 19-23, Pavilion 5A, Stand HJ093), drawing on over 40 years of experience in pasta production. The company’s extensive product range is designed to meet the diverse needs of large retailers, catering to both branded products and private labels, the latter accounting for a substantial 70% of its revenue.
The trade show will provide De Angelis with a platform to engage with industry stakeholders, strengthen ties with existing clients, attract new ones, and enhance its visibility across multiple business levels. The company plans to highlight its high degree of customization and present innovations for 2024.
In recent years, De Angelis has seen significant growth in exports, both within the EU and beyond. It boasts a robust presence in France, where fresh pasta has long been popular, and is experiencing rising sales in Spain, the UK, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Poland. The firm also maintains a solid market in the USA and Canada.
At SIAL, De Angelis will unveil key innovations in products and packaging tailored to modern consumer demands, while diversifying and refreshing its offerings:
- The Gourmet range, focused on exclusive pairings, now features two new premium items: Cacio e Pepe Panzerotti and Mortadella, Burrata, and Pesto Ravioli.
- Lasagna Sheets from the I Grandi Classici line are transitioning from trays to flow packs, with the new packaging using 30% less plastic than its predecessor.
- Maxi Gusto, the family-sized range, will introduce a new design aimed at enhancing shelf presence, highlighting both the product’s distinctive qualities and the brand’s identity.
