Discovering Italian food at Coop Suisse

Italian food has always played a very important role for Coop Suisse, as Italian cuisine is one of the most popular in Switzerland. In 2017, a new shop format was launched – Sapori d’Italia (Flavours of Italy) – to showcase authentic Italian delicacies within the retailer’s stores. Coop Suisse now operates 5 Sapori d’Italia shops in Switzerland. The retailer plans to further expand its range of products in this area.

Italianfood.net visited one of these stores to discover which are the most appreciated Italian food and beverage products in Switzerland. Among these we can find pasta (from Barilla, De Cecco, and Rummo), olive oil (Filippo Berio), balsamic vinegar (Antica Modena) and many others.
