Anuga 2019 fair (from 5 to 9 October in Cologne), one of the most important global trade show for the F&B sector, will be a perfect scenario for buyers to discover Italy’s charcuterie and Piacenza cold cuts in particular. Salumi Piacentini PDO Protection Consortium is in fact promoting “Europe, Open Air Taste Museum” European project. Co-financed by the European Union, the project is aimed at strengthening consumers awareness and recognition of the high-quality food productions in the European Union. Within an open-air museum of taste, the values to be protected are territory, tradition, and a production method that is guaranteed by the highest European standards.

PDO, EXCELLENT COLD CUTS FROM PIACENZA

The three PDO cold cuts from Piacenza are Pancetta piacentina PDO, Coppa Piacentina PDO and Salame Piacentino PDO. “In addition to being tasted, our cured meats must also be ‘told’. Anuga will be an opportunity to make and live ‘Food Culture’, an experience in the taste and history of a timeless tradition that still gives unique emotions thanks to its food masterpieces” – the Consortium said in an official statement. Salumi Piacentini PDO Consortium will showcase its products at Hall 5.2 – Stand C056.
