WorldFood Moscow: a world of delicious ideas

As WorldFood Moscow is Russia’s top food and drink exhibition, it offers multiple ways for producers in sanctioned states to stay in Russia’s extensive food market. The trade show opens its doors today until September 20. Up to 1,516 exhibitors are expected to attend the exhibition, with companies coming from 62 countries, 44 national pavilions, and 30,000 trade visitors from 79 Russian regions and 90 countries.

NATIONAL GROUPS AT WORLDFOOD MOSCOW

WorldFood Moscow is the meeting place for international companies looking to enter, or maintain their place, in Russia’s import market, and Russian partners. An important option of attending WorldFood Moscow as part of a National Group. These are delegations organized by nation-specific trade organizations, showcasing the very best food and drink manufacturers, and their products, that country has to offer. Countries currently under sanction in Russia’s food and drink market, such as EU member states, take National Groups to the exhibition.

THE ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY IN MOSCOW

ICE, the Italian Trade Agency, is a firm fixture at WorldFood Moscow. It helps to organize cooking demonstrations from Italian chefs to let event attendees see how to best prepare meals made with delicious Italian ingredients, and sample Italian cuisine for themselves. At present, Italian firms are able to export coffee, pastas, confectionery items, wine, and beer, plus many more products, to Russia. When ICE travels to Moscow, it is alongside many Italian firms interested in either keeping in contact with Russian buyers, or those wishing to see the market for themselves. And this year is no exception.

THE BUSINESS PROGRAMME

WorldFood Moscow offers more than just a networking and selling platform. As Russia’s no.1 international food and drink exhibition, it’s a place to grow industry knowledge and learn from the business’ key influencers. Every exhibition edition features a unique Business Programme, composed of guest talks, seminars, conferences, and discussions covering the food industry’s top trends and topics. More than 100 guest speakers are taking part this year across over 20 events, spanning two full exhibition days. Over 1,000 delegates are expected to participate, increasing the event’s professional audience significantly.
