Italian Food Awards to reward innovation

The Italian Food Awards USA will be the highlight of the Italian Pavilion at the 63rd edition of the Summer Fancy Food Show, the most important specialty food event in the United States which takes place in June. The program was unveiled in New York during a cocktail event hosted by the Specialty Food Association, which organizes the Fancy Food Show, and its exclusive agent for Italy, Universal Marketing. We are very proud that Italianfood.net chose the Summer Fancy Food for the 2017 edition, said Donato Cinelli, CEO of Universal Marketing. This year we are presenting a completely new look of the pavilion. We are going to have a lot of activities, and special areas. It’s going to be a special edition, Cinelli said. A record number of over 300 Italian companies will be at the pavilion.

Italian food and innovation

Following previous editions in Europe, the Italian Food Awards 2017 will celebrate the best innovative Italian food products recently launched in the US market. We are very excited at the Specialty Food Association because we have been selected as the venue for the first edition of the US Italian Food Awards, said Chris Nemchek, Vice President of SFA. We are the place where innovation is introduced and these awards are going to highlight innovation in Italian food products and this is what the American public and American buyers are looking for, Nemchek said.
