Italian group Selex products sales continue to grow, particularly in the private label sector. In 2016, sales growth went up to +3% peaking at +15% in the premium and organic segments. This year, Selex is up to enter new marketplaces reviving some of its products and labels. The main innovations will be the debut of a 100% veg product line and the renewal of “Amico Mio Selex” petfood brand. Selex group private labels cover the most important product categories thanks to 5,000 brands. The group is attending Marca 2017 now on air at Bologna Exhibition Centre. It is the most important Italian private label fair.
Trade mark renewal
This year will also mark the Selex group trade mark renewal. Ad hoc graphics for each different product type have been designed, such as food and beverage, non food, pet food and house care. Good sales results have been achieved by Vivi Bene Selex, the healthy line which has been backed up by Vivi Bene Selex Senza Glutine (gluten free), Natura Chiama Selex e Natura in Tavola Vale, which are dedicated to organic system products. High-end products are growing too, starting with Saper di Sapori and Vale Le Specialità. This year the latter will offer more choices as for high quality food and typical regional productions. During the year Selex has also planned some important promotional events which will focus on its private labels (Selex and Vale in particular).
