At Cibus 2016, the presence at ‘Spazio Granarolo‘ of Agriculture Minister Maurizio Martina, EU European Parliament member and Rapporteur on Agriculture Paolo De Castro, as well as of several delegations from all over the world confirmed the interest of international buyers and Italian institutions in Gruppo Granarolo, a leading player of the Italian agri-food industry.
THE COMPANY’S GOALS IN THE FOREIGN MARKETS – Granarolo, the only dairy Italian company with 11 PDO certifications, including Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, Pecorino, and Caciocavallo Silano, drew strong interest from visitors of the Cibus food show. Among the most appreciated products, the innovative long-life Mascarpone, with nine months of shelf life, and the Mozzarella treated with IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) technology for foreign markets, let alone vegetable products from beverage to food, a result of the group’s diversification strategy. Granarolo is present in 56 countries worldwide, with a special focus on the United States, Brazil and China.
