There has been an earnings growth increase as foreign sales are on the rise for the Sanpellegrino group. The Italian water and soda producer confirmed the positive export sales trend previously noted in 2015. Indeed, exports to 145 countries were worth 474 million euro and now account for 52% of the group’s total turnover. “This data is an impressive record,” commented Stefano Agostini, the managing director of the Italian group, “a result which we were able to gain after strategies of right investments and coming from right decisions related to the company’s process of internationalization,” added Agostini. In particular, it can be noted that exports of mineral water brands, San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, together with the San Pellegrino drinks, totaled about 1.47 billion bottles worldwide.
