It looks as if the World Trade Center will be embracing the Italian part of the world a little bit more. “On May 15,” the founder Oscar Farinetti said, “we’re going to open the second Eataly in New York; we are opening above Ground Zero and it will be dedicated to peace. In fact,” he added, “its name will be Eataly: The Peace”.
Eataly’s construction manager Caolan Sleeper, added, “We have had some hurdles to work through,” of the 41,000-square-foot project.
The New York Times reported that there are many businesses planning to open at the new luxury mall at the World Trade Center, including Eataly, Kate Spade, Apple, and many more.
