Italian retailer, which is yet present in Dubai, looks to become more pushing in the area with the project named Magazzino Italia. Coop Adriatica partnered the operation.

Middle East area seems to be big enough for both Eataly, the Italian high end food chain, and Coop Adriatica, one of the leading player in the Italian large distribution. The two firms have joined project that names Magazzino Italia, Italian language daily Il Sole 24 ore reported.

The report claims also that Magazzino Italia is a Limited company owned by two private firms: Società Italiana di Sviluppo Privato and Dubai Magazzino Italia. These are the two industry players in the deal. The first company is run by Carlo Acampora, the son of one of the lower close to Silvio Berlusconi and controls a branch, Grand Hotel via Veneto Spa, throughout the operation with Coop Adriatica was perfected. What about the second company, Dubai Magazzino Italia, the shareholders are actually unknown this time, the report cited. There is, the contrary, no doubt that Magazzino Italia is confident in the potential of the area and ready to operate.
