Conserve Italia Group, specialized in fruit and vegetables preserved food, is part of a cooperative organization that brings together over 14,500 farmers. And the Group itself brings together 48 cooperatives. Thanks to Cirio, Valfrutta and Yoga brands, the company gained market shares last year. In Uk, indeed, Cirio recorded sales up 32% in 2014, ranking the second in the list of the leading brand in the sector.
Now at Expo Milan Conserve Italia doubles it’s presence. Maurizio Gardini, the president of the company announces: “We will be the main supporter of the Civil Society Pavilion by Cascina Triulza Foundation. We want to stress that cooperation is first of all a matter that involves corporate social responsibility” and adds- ” We are closest with the values typical of biodiversity; we encourage sustainable development as our mission.”
But the company will join also, thanks to a partnership with Italia del Gusto, the CibusèItalia Pavilion by Federalimentare. A video illustrating Cirio’s brand history will be filmed all Expo long. In addition, Cirio has signed in the Japanese market agreement with Nippn chain while in Germany continues to give results in Rewe where sales were more more than 30 million euros last year.
