Focused on the long-term and accurate investments, the winery Vini La Delizia supports and constantly manages grower partners, providing technical support for different growing policies, from selecting clones to planning cuttings and monitoring them for the entire production cycle. The entire processing and fermentation phase uses cutting-edge technological systems under the strict control of cellars and winemakers. New production investments, in a cutting-edge logistic center and a capillary commercial network allow the Friulian Cooperative to be distributed as best possible on the national and international market, making it one of the key players in the sector. To satisfy growing market needs, by guaranteeing the intrinsic quality of the wine product and consumer safety at the same time, the winery Vini La Delizia has made an important purchase: a new bottling facility that allows it to increase its productive capacity, reaching 10,000 bottles/hour for sparkling wines and 14,000 bottles/hour for still wine, adopting the most updated energy saving technologies, inspected with sophisticated automatic controls and electrical management systems. Viticoltori Friulani La Delizia’s desire to grow is measured by investments made over the last three-years (2010-2013) for a total of 7 million Euros, divided as follows: 1.5 million for the fermentation and the sparkling wine production process, 4 million for the bottling/packaging area and 1.5 million for the experimental Azienda Agricola in Pantianicco.
The sales revenue of the Casarsa winery will close 2013 with an anticipated 12% increase compared to the previous year, increasing from 23 to 26 million Euros. On the Italian market, about 65% of production is absorbed by modern trade channel and the remaining 35% by the Ho.re.ca. channel.
Exports, the true strong point for the historic winery, cover 55% of volume. Among the key markets: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium and China. The Russian market represents an area of growth for the Casarsa winery, where each year more than 300,000 bottles of wine are sold, about 20% of the Prosecco.
