The countdown to the live award ceremony at SIAL Paris 2026 is officially on. Following a rigorous evaluation process combining international trade expertise and market data, Italianfood.net reveals the finalist products competing for the top spot across 9 core categories.
Organized in partnership with SIAL Paris, Universal Marketing, NIQ, and Consorzio Italia del Gusto, and sponsored by Nextcom and Salpi, the Italian Food Awards represent the premier showcase for authentic Italian food and beverage innovations entering global retail and foodservice markets.
Out of 87 nominated products launched over the last two years, an elite jury of 9 international retail buyers and importers (70% weight) alongside NIQ market performance data (30% weight) have selected the top candidates.
