Italy’s Casalasco, a leading tomato supply chain group, will once again take part in PLMA Amsterdam, scheduled for May 19–20, reinforcing its role as a key player in the global private label market.

Casalasco Group will exhibit at Hall 14, Stand 14.F06. The event remains a benchmark platform for producers and retailers seeking new products, partnerships, and ideas for international markets. At this year’s edition, the Italian company will present a fully integrated portfolio of projects, expertise, and solutions designed to address the demands of a rapidly evolving global market. Casalasco highlighted that market expectations are increasingly centered on “certified quality, traceability, and sustainability across the entire supply chain.”

A STRATEGIC PLATFORM FOR GROWTH

Participation in PLMA represents a strategic opportunity for Casalasco to consolidate its international positioning. The group emphasized the strength of its production model, based on a fully controlled and 100% Italian supply chain, combining agricultural expertise, industrial innovation, and project flexibility.

The company will place particular focus on its tailor-made solutions for modern retail partners. Its approach is grounded in co-creation, enabling the development of private-label products aligned with emerging consumer and market trends across different geographies.

INNOVATION AT THE CORE

Supporting this strategy is Casalasco’s Innovation Center, which plays a central role in advancing production efficiency, environmental sustainability, and continuous quality improvement. The company underscored its commitment to leveraging innovation as a driver of long-term competitiveness and responsible growth.

INDUSTRY DIALOGUE AND FUTURE CHALLENGES

The PLMA Amsterdam trade show continues to serve as a key platform for dialogue between industry and retailers worldwide, fostering strategic partnerships and encouraging a shared vision on the sector’s future challenges.

For Casalasco, participation in the 2026 edition is also “a key moment of discussion on the central themes of contemporary agri-food,” to promote increasingly responsible production models capable of generating value for customers, consumers, and local territories.
