Surgital Announces Strategic Evolution

Surgital is closing 2025 on a strong note, confirming significant growth across all its markets and laying the groundwork for a major strategic shift in 2026. The Italian company specializing in frozen pasta announced the launch of a new brand architecture for its food service and ready meal lines, set to debut in January 2026.

The official preview will take place at Anuga 2025, where Surgital will present a fully redesigned stand as a symbol of its new course. The trade show will provide an opportunity to meet industry partners and share the company’s future vision.

“The German market has always valued Italian products,” said Massimiliano Bacchini, commercial director of Surgital. “I like to define the quality of our products as ‘without compromise,’ meaning that we invest heavily in raw materials and production processes to maintain consistently high standards. At Anuga, we want to bring not only our identity and the strength of our culinary culture, but also a major change in our brand architecture, which will materialize at the beginning of 2026. This is part of a clear strategy: to position ourselves ever more strongly as a branded company in the global foodservice market.”

FOCUS ON GROWTH IN GERMANY AND EUROPE

Germany continues to be a key market for Surgital. Despite a challenging economic context and declining out-of-home consumption, the company reports positive performance. This resilience is attributed in part to the expansion of its commercial network and the creation of a new area manager structure dedicated to the German market.

The strategic transformation is also supported by strengthening operations in Italy and other European markets. Surgital aims to further consolidate its distribution in the food service channel, which currently accounts for about 75% of its business.

Projections for year-end 2025 are expected to be positive, both in terms of revenue and sales volumes. Among the most significant projects on the horizon is the launch of a new bakery division, the result of two years of research and testing, set to reach full operation during 2026.

We are finalizing the restructuring of a production unit that, starting in January 2026, will host our new bakery division,” Bacchini added. “This innovation will come to life with the launch of dedicated new products. The production lines will be installed towards the end of the year, with production beginning in the first half of 2026. The bakery range will have its own identity and brand. This is a central project in our future strategy, one we strongly believe in.”
