The Italian food innovation is once again the protagonist at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2023, the American largest trade show dedicated to the food sector.
Italianfood.net, the Food Group’s international project, organized the fifth edition of the Italian Food Awards USA, dedicated to the most innovative Italian F&B products launched in the past two years in the US market.
60 products were selected by an international Jury of Experts and by the performance analysis by Circana, who decreed 10 winners, in 8 categories: Beverage, Condiments & Sauces, Deli (Cheese and Salumi), Frozen, Oil & Vinegar, Pasta, Rice and Dry Mixes, Preserves, Snacks & Aperitivo) and two in the Special Awards category (Packaging, and Sustainability).
Moreover, the editorial department of Italianfood.net have awarded two Special Prizes: Best Italian Brand to Lavazza, Best Italian Brands Ambassador to Consorzio Italia del Gusto.
Below are the results of the awarding ceremony attended as guests by buyers, importers, and distributors of the American market, such as Rouses Market, Whole Foods Market, Di Bruno Bros., Baldor Specialty Food, Casa Tua, Hy-Vee, Eursource, Wakefern, Gelson’s, Schnuck Markets, the Restaurateur Gianfranco Sorrentino, and the Chefs Fabrizio Facchini and Michele Casadei.
