Altomonte’s shop is made of two large markets in Doylestown and Warminster, Pennsylvania, each with a large selection of imported and local products where Italian specialties take the lion’s share. This is why Italianfood.net met Vincent Grispino, COO and General Manager at Altomonte’s, during SANA 2022 trade show at BolognaFiere. We interviewed him to know something more about the most cherished Italian organic food products in the US market.
“I’m always looking for top quality and authentic Italian ingredients. At Altomonte’s, we try to pull from Italy as much as possible. What I have learned here is that ingredient labels are cleaner in Italy compared to some of the products that are allowed in the US. In our store, we always look for quality in all the products that we offer,” Grispino told us.
