During FICO Eataly World’s first birthday in Bologna, Italianfood.net interviewed Giuseppe Di Martino, CEO of the Italian famous pasta company Pastificio Di Martino. “Pasta Bar – said Di Martino – is our new and particular formula, designed to give pasta the dignity of a real popular restaurant. We opened our first Pasta Bar in Naples, and soon after the opening we got a very good response from Michelin. The idea is to spread the philosophy of pasta all over the world. The first one Pasta Bar outside Italy is to open soon in New York City. Then, we have already received many requests from Japan and Dubai. The mission of Pasta Bar is to educate customers to use pasta in as many ways as they can. Getting closer to the consumer is the key”.
