Balocco arrives in Parma from 7 to 10 May for the 19th edition of Cibus, the B2B reference event for the Italian food industry. An unmissable appointment for a brand like Balocco, one of the leading Italian players in the confectionery sector. There are many new features that national and foreign operators can discover at the Balocco stand (hall 6 – F016). Among these, the debut of the brand ‘Bottega Balocco – Italian Bakery 1927’ which designs the pastry biscuits produced at FICO Eataly World, the ‘factory in the shop window’ where knowledge and artisan creativity are combined with cutting-edge technologies and industrial processes. A homage to the pastry shop where everything began in 1927.

The history of Bottega Balocco

These typical Piedmontese biscuits were re-born thanks to a precious manuscript of the beginning of the 20th century, jealously guarded in the farm, which contains the ancient family recipes. It was a journey into our memory – said CEO Alberto Balocco. A fascinating handwriting of yesteryear has accompanied us in this rediscovery, allowing us to revive our roots in the Bottega Balocco products. The new brand will also sign new Christmas products, made with high quality raw materials and proposed in refined and original gift boxes. At Cibus 2018, Balocco will also present its new range of Fibra&Gusto grain mats, the restyling of the wafer range, and many other new products.
