The world is beginning to value food differently as it discovers the joy of eating together and the importance of genuine ingredients that are so much part of the Italian food tradition, said Richard McCarthy, Executive Director of Slow Food Usa. In this interview with ItalianFood.Net on the sidelines of a conference organized by the US-Italy Global Affairs Forum at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington DC, McCarthy said that the many Italian food cultures have inspired global food conversation around the idea that ingredients matter.
