Italy is confirmed as being the top wines supplier in the USA, with total a market share of 32,4%. That’s clearly shown by the figures released at “Italian wines and the American palate: trends and opportunities in the U.S. Market”, within the framework of the “Vino 2017” event. Wine is the main Italian food&beverage export item and it represents 4% of total Made in Italy exported products in the U.S. market. In the first eleven months of 2016 Italian export in the USA reached a value of $1.65 billion, with a growth of 5,9% compared to the same period of 2015.
