T’a Milano, the confectionery company named after the initials of its founders, the brothers Tancredi and Alberto Alemagna, announced its debut in Germany.
Launched eight years ago by the heirs of one of the most renowned confectioner families in Italy, T’a Milano is bringing its design, artisanal chocolate squares and dragees to Eataly in Munich, where the food retailer specialized in premium Italian food has opened a new store.
The chocolatier will also be one of the top Italian exhibitors at ISM, the world’s largest trade fair for sweets and snacks, which takes place in Cologne from January 31 until February 3.
The company last year opened in the center of Milan its first flagship store, T’a Milano Store & Bistrot, which includes a gourmet restaurant, a sophisticated pastry and cafeteria and a cocktail bar. “It’s a concept we had in mind since when we founded our brand which combines artisanship, quality and design,” the two founders said.
T’a Milano is also present with a corner at the new temporary showroom RAW in Milan, which features home design and rare plants (until April 30).
The Alemagnas, whose family name many will remember for the traditional Milanese panettone and the highway restaurant chain, have said they are considering exporting their retail format abroad.
