During the 2024 edition of the SIAL trade show, the Italian dairy company Inalpi won the Italian Food Award in the dairy category with its lactose-free yogurt. Inalpi’s marketing manager, Matteo Torchio, observes that lactose-free yogurt flavors remain limited on supermarket shelves worldwide. This gap in the market is one reason the Italian dairy company is now prioritizing the development of this product category.
