Casalasco, Italy’s largest industrial tomato processor, will be among the headline exhibitors at TuttoFood 2025 (Hall 2, Stand F03), the international agri-food trade show scheduled to run from 5 to 8 May at Fiera Milano. The event marks a strategic step for the group, which is presenting its full brand portfolio for the first time—including recent acquisitions Pummarò, Polpabella, and Sugo Lampo—alongside long-established labels Pomì and De Rica.
The move reflects Casalasco’s ambition to consolidate its position in the global preserved foods market by leveraging the heritage of its brands while adapting to shifting consumer preferences. Among the new launches is a 140g tube of De Rica double-concentrated datterino tomato paste—touted as a first of its kind in the market—designed to meet demand for flavour and convenience.
Sustainability is also a focus. Pomì will unveil a 390g Fine Tomato Pulp in Tetra Pak Recart packaging, made from 71% renewable, plant-based materials. The pack, which carries FSC certification, is said to reduce CO₂ emissions by 83% compared with traditional formats.
In parallel with its Milan showcase, Casalasco will take part in two further international events in May: the Saudi Food Show in Riyadh (12–14 May), which targets Middle Eastern buyers, and PLMA Amsterdam (20–21 May), Europe’s largest private-label trade show.
