Riso Vignola 1880, a leading producer of premium rice, cereals, and legumes from Piedmont, has launched its Origini – Capolavori di Natura collection in the United States through a collaboration with Eataly. The highlight of the partnership is the debut of the Riso Pop-Up Restaurant at Eataly’s Boston store, running until December 31, where the company’s range of Italian and international rice varieties takes center stage.
This initiative marks a deepening of ties between Riso Vignola and Eataly, following the introduction of the Origini line in Eataly’s Italian stores in 2023. The collaboration has since expanded to London, Munich, and Paris, with plans to reach Eataly’s North American locations in 2024. The Riso Pop-Up Restaurant exemplifies Eataly’s dedication to showcasing Made in Italy excellence while highlighting shared values: a commitment to quality, environmental sustainability, and support for local communities.
The Origini – Capolavori di Natura collection presents carefully curated rice varieties, combining Italian tradition with global influences to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of rice.
For the pop-up, Chef Davide Bonato of Madrid’s acclaimed Gioia restaurant has crafted two menus—a Tasting Menu and an À la Carte option. Both feature dishes that blend Italian classics with internationally inspired creations, leveraging the versatility of Origini rice to reimagine courses from appetizers to desserts.
