Pam Panorama, a prominent Italian retail chain, has emerged victorious at the 2024 International PLMA Salute to Excellence Awards, securing nine accolades in the prestigious competition organized by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA). This international event, a fixture for retail buyers since 1985, featured over 550 products from 72 retailers across 23 countries, covering 79 product categories.
Pam Panorama’s private label, Tesori Dell’Arca, won two awards in the following categories:
- Crackers & Crispbreads: Pane Guttiau Tesori dell’Arca, a traditional Sardinian product. This flatbread is seasoned with olive oil and sprinkled with salt crystals before being lightly toasted to achieve a crispy and flavorful finish.
- Pasta & Rice: Pappardelle Pasta all’Uovo Tesori dell’Arca, an egg pasta from Camerino, crafted in the hills of Marche. The dough is made traditionally with Italian durum wheat semolina and free-range eggs, bronze-drawn and slow-dried for a golden, rough-textured sheet.
“The awards we have received underscore the dedication and passion we invest in developing our private label, which offers exceptional quality at competitive prices,” stated Gerardo Luca Sinesi, Private Label Manager at Pam Panorama.
Additionally, three wines from Pam Panorama’s collection were recognized for their outstanding olfactory, taste, and balance characteristics. We are talking about Prosecco Doc Rosé Millesimato 2022 Brut, Ribolla Gialla Vino Spumante Brut, and Südtirol–Alto Adige Doc Lagrein 2023. The awards were as follows:
- Best Quality and Best Value in the Sparkling Rosé category: Cilium Prosecco D.O.C. Rosato Millesimato 2022 Brut, made from Glera and Pinot Nero grapes.
- Best Quality in the Sparkling Whites category and Best Value in the Organic category: Cilium Ribolla Gialla Vino Spumante Brut, a sparkling wine made exclusively from Ribolla Gialla grapes.
