Gulfood 2024 ready to launch F&B’s latest innovations

Italian food exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are significantly increasing year over year. On an annual basis, exports are around 500 million euros. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) continues its activities to support the Italian food sector in the Emirates, starting with the collaboration with Euromercato, which is one of the largest distributors of Italian agri-food products in the UAE. In this context, the upcoming opening of Gulfood (19-23 February at the Dubai World Trade Centre) is a must-attend opportunity to present the latest innovations in Italian food and beverage products to this growing market. Gulfood 2024 edition is going to be attended by 5,500+ exhibitors and visitors from over 190 countries, throughout 24 halls. With nearly 200 food and beverage companies, Italy will be among the top 20 visiting countries.

International policymakers and F&B industry leaders have their sights firmly fixed on global food systems, and how they can be transformed to feed an ever-growing global population, while simultaneously building resilience and mitigating the impacts of climate change, to avoid future crises. The major issues of Gulfood 2024 will include innovations in ag-tech (a market set to almost double in size between now and 2030), the increasing use of AI in food production, reducing food loss and waste (which currently accounts for over a third of global food production), public-private partnerships, and investment in alternative proteins which can help reduce food deprivation and feed the world through to 2050 and beyond.

Italianfood.net will be present with a stand at Hall Concourse 1 (Stand BM- 34).
