Eataly unveils its first whisky brand

The Italian food-halls chain Eataly has recently unveiled its inaugural whisky line, in collaboration with the Trentino-based distillery, Villa de Varda. This premium range comprises a select number of exquisite bottles, showcasing the essence of 100% Made-in-Italy whisky. It is available in both single malt and rye versions. The grains are meticulously cultivated in the mountainous terrain proximate to the distillery, and a key ingredient is the pristine water sourced from the Dolomites of Brenta.

The outcome is an unprecedented distillation, uniquely celebrating the native ingredients and the rich Italian terroir. This venture underscores “Eataly’s commitment to the food production supply chain, demonstrating a dedication to ensuring the highest quality at every stage of production,” the company says.
