The list of exhibitors of ProSweets Cologne, which is being co-staged this year for the first time as a Special Edition in April (from 23rd to 25th) together with ISM, already provides a foretaste of the forthcoming inspiring event. Due to the one-off postponement of the venue date, this year ProSweets Cologne – Special Edition is located in a central area in the heart of ISM, the leading international trade show for sweets and snacks.

Discover authentic Italian sweets and confectionery on the Italianfood.net platform

The strong demand to participate in this one-off special format has led to the originally planned area being expanded several times. In this way, around 115 companies from 22 countries will be present at the most important trading and communication platform for the supplier sector of the sweets and snacks industry, including both international market leaders and the equally important smaller and medium-sized specialized suppliers. Interested parties will thus once again this year find a diversified and competent spectrum of offers comprising solutions and equipment for a wide range of themes across the entire value chain at the Special Edition of ProSweets Cologne.

ON DISPLAY

The visitors await a broad spectrum of topics at ProSweets Cologne. The majority of the exhibitors come from European countries like Belgium, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and Poland. But countries such as the USA, Lebanon, and Turkey are also represented among the exhibitors. The high level of internationality of the Special Edition is furthermore underlined by the two group stands of China.

All of the main exhibition sections are covered: from packaging materials and machines to plants and automation, through to food safety and operating and auxiliary equipment.

The significant increase in participation from the sweet & snackable ingredients segment is particularly pleasing. In comparison to the previous event more than double the number of exhibitors from the raw materials/ingredients/semi-finished goods are represented. Against the backdrop of stronger consumer demand for sustainable and at the same technologically convincing products, this segment is expanding constantly.

THE EVENT PROGRAMME

The event programme which enhances ProSweets Cologne – Special Edition also picks up on the focal themes of the trade show Raw Materials & Ingredients and Sweet & Snackable Ingredients.

On the one hand, a series of impulse lectures on the Expert Stage covering themes such as sustainability, supply chains, and packaging will be a further source of information. On the other hand, Guided Tours of the DLG entitled “Raw Materials for the Sensory Wow Effect” will take place daily. They highlight the opportunities that arise by implementing special raw materials, but also technological solutions for the production of demanding sensory products. Further lectures on the Expert Stage address issues such as energy efficiency or chocolate technology. The Expert Stage additionally encompasses themes from the ISM world.

ProSweets Cologne – Special Edition is inviting guests to join them for a Matchmaking Breakfast for the first time on April 25. The aim is to allow producers of sweets and snacks to network with the supplier industry in a relaxed atmosphere and further promote the internal industry dialogue (upon special invitation only).
