Perfetti Van Melle Italia has obtained the Top Employer Italy 2021 certification, a “very important recognition – underlines the Italian company specializing in the production of chewing gums, candies and snacks in an official statement – that testifies the commitment and results achieved in our path of employees development.” The recognition is in addition to the Top Employer Europe certification.
There are 1,600 companies in the world that obtained this recognition from the Top Employer Institute this year. The certification is awarded to companies that achieve and meet high standards required in the strategic areas of HR including People Strategy, Work Environments, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion.
PERFETTI VAN MELLE: BRANCHES AND PRODUCTS
This certification involves all 1,200 employees working in the group’s companies in Italy:
- Perfetti Van Melle SpA, which produces candies and chewing gums (Golia, Vigorsol, Brooklyn, Daygum, Vivident, Big Babol, Alpenliebe brands etc.) in two production units in Lainate (Milan);
- Gelco SrL, which produces extruded liquorices and jellies (Fruittella, Morositas, Goleador, Lupo Alberto brands etc) in Castelnuovo Vomano (Teramo);
- La Giulia SpA, which produces hard candies and toffees (Golia and private label candies brands) in Gorizia;
- Gum Base Co. SpA, which produces gum base for chewing gum in Lainate;
- Selection, that is the communication agency of the group in Milan.
