Cibus 2020 will be postponed to September, from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4. The postponement was necessary due to the unexpected evolution of the coronavirus emergency and, in particular, the growth of air traffic blockades to and from Italy.
Fiere di Parma, in agreement with Federalimentare, after an in-depth analysis carried out together with representatives of exhibitors, the food industry and international buyers, has therefore decided to postpone Cibus 2020 (initially scheduled for May) to the beginning of September.
PROTECTING CIBUS 2020 EXHIBITORS
This decision is consistent with Vinitaly’s decision to postpone the trade show, as well as with the international fair calendar. Fiere di Parma was faced with the need and priority of protecting the investments of exhibiting companies. The change of date will be decisive to guarantee the same flow of foreign visitors and buyers that Cibus has always offered to Italian agri-food companies.

CIBUS TRADE SHOW STRENGTHENING ITS PRESENCE ON THE WEB
In the meantime the Cibus catalogue becomes www.mybusiness.cibus.it to make a refined search engine available from now on to visitors, and in general to professional users who now spend much more time online. The site not only contains the information in the catalogue, but soon all the products that companies publish on their sites will be on display.
This will allow registered users to carry out in-depth and punctual searches and then directly send requests for supply or contact. All contents, even those that companies have not translated, will be edited in many different languages thanks to a specific tool.
