Master, the dumpling specialist

Master is a Treviso-based food company, leader in Italy in the fresh gnocchi (dumplings) segment. It is currently investing heavily to promote its products also in foreign markets.

NEW LAUNCHES EVERY SIX MONTHS

Recently, the Mamma Emma line has undergone a packaging restyling. Recipe suggestions and QR codes that redirect to the recipes page on Master’s website have been introduced. The company is also working on the launch of four new references, including cauliflower dumplings.

All products made by Master are absolutely free of preservatives, dyes or additives. They are genuine recipes, just like homemade: only fresh potatoes, whole eggs and soft wheat flour. Moreover, the company is able to offer a wide range of references and to meet the needs of a varied market, as demonstrated by the organic vegan line

We try to launch new references every six months. At the same time, we are working to find new packaging solutions, formats, production processes and communication – says Master in an official statement – and we are very happy to see that many other Italian companies in the food industry are investing heavily in R&D of their products and packaging. This means that there is a great will to do well and improve. We try to understand what the trendy foods are, to intercept the new tastes of our customers. Modern consumers are looking for organic, vegan, gluten free and sustainable supply chain products.”

FOCUSING ON FOREIGN MARKETS

In order to increase sales and gain new market shares, the Veneto-based company plans to increase its presence on foreign markets, where fresh potato dumplings are not yet as popular as in Italy.

Expanding abroad is a very slow process, which requires great patience, experience and, without a doubt, great investments Master comments -. Our goal is to enter as many international markets as possible. Where we are already present, we aim to expand the range of products through in-store demo activities, to make consumers appreciate the quality and originality of our production.”
