The Italian Food Awards USA, organized by Italianfood.net in partnership with Universal Marketing, return for the third consecutive year to the Summer Fancy Food Show 2019 in New York to celebrate the most innovative food and beverage trends coming to the US market.
THE SELECTION CRITERIA
Italianfood.net selected 223 products launched in 2018 and 2019 on the U.S. market and on display at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2019.
THE VOTE
The vote is open to American retail and foodservice buyers, importers and distributors. Voters will have to review:
- A product entry in every category
- Three special awards (cross category)
- Innovation
- Sustainability
- Packaging
CATEGORIES
The products have been divided into 11 categories:
- Bakery & Snacks
- Beverage
- Coffee
- Dairy
- Dressings & Vinegars
- Frozen Food
- Olive Oils & Condiments
- Pasta & Cereals
- Preserves & Sauces
- Salumi
- Sweets & Confectionery
All products will be showcased on www.italianfood.net platform, while the three most voted products will be displayed at the entrance of the Italian Pavilion of Summer Fancy Food Show 2019.
AWARDING CEREMONY: WHERE AND WHEN
Eleven Italian Food Awards USA will be assigned for each category in addition to three Special Awards for Innovation, Sustainability and Packaging.
The winners will be unveiled at an awarding ceremony that will take place on June 23, 2019 at 5pm in the Italian Pavilion’s Lounge.
