Is Amazon about to Send Free Samples?

Is Amazon about to send free samples directly to the home of its customers? According to Axios.com, which has collected several reports, Amazon is in fact about to adopt a new business strategy that provides for the free sending at home to some customers of free samples of products. They should be chosen according to its algorithms about the habits and tastes of customers. In a job advertisement that appeared a few months ago and was attributable to Amazon, this option was mentioned, presented as “an advertising service that uses customer data to allow brands to put their items in the hands of interested consumers”.

FREE SAMPLES FOR AMAZON PRIME USERS

By now, Amazon has not commented on this news, but in the past it has already tested the sending of free samples. In particular with the mode that provided, for Amazon Prime users, to buy them in exchange for a credit to be spent later. Probably this service will be officially launched first in the United States, but in the Amazon page dedicated to free samples customers can already read that “Amazon helps you to discover products you might love by sending you free samples of new and already known brands. They’re like ‘Amazon product tips’ but it’s all real, so you can try, smell, feel and taste the latest products”. If confirmed, this kind of service could be another way for the e-commerce giant to overcome the limitations of online market, by creating a new connection to the world of physical commerce.
