The Italian company specialized in grated, portioned, and packed Parmigiano Reggiano PDO presents a new Campirossi multipack cheese product which is now available on Sainsbury’s shelves

Dalter Alimentari, an Italian company based in Sant’Ilario (Reggio Emilia), is a leader in grated, portioned, and packed cheeses, starting with Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. From this month, Dalter is offering a new snack – with Campirossi brand – in UK’s retail market. It’s a multipack bag filled with Parmigiano Reggiano PDO little bites. The product has been launched on 11 September in 210 Sainsbury’s points of sale.

A healthy multipack product

The new Campirossi product from Dalter Alimentari is a 90g multipack containing a dozen Parmigiano Reggiano (aged 18 months) single-serves of about 9 grams each. It’s a food-on-the-go snack pack, as each single-serve is individually wrapped. The weight – the minimum available on the market – is such that the product can be eaten in a single bite. The multipack guarantees the freshness of the cheese as freshly cut. In fact, every single-serve can be opened when needed and immediately consumed without waste. Moreover, the product has a strong “healthy” connotation. This is because Parmigiano Reggiano is itself a healthy, tasty, and preservatives free food. Furthermore, each single-serve has an intake of 32 calories only.
