A new range of pasta sauces and pesto, specifically made for the US market, is the ‘secret weapon’ of Italian company Saclà at Summer Fancy Food Show 2017 in New York. In this exclusive interview with ItalianFood.net, Saclà Ceo Chiara Ercole illustrates the characteristics of these real Italian recipes, with no added sugar, authentic and very rich in tomatoes and flavor based on soffritto (chopped onions fried in oil used as a base for tomato sauce).
