Wines from the volcanic island of Sicily and its Mount Etna, but also a new line of reds from the white wine specialist region of Alto Adige are the new trends in the wine sector, according to Stevie Kim, managing director of Vinitaly International.
Discovering territories and native grapes is redefining consumption, said Kim at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York, where Vinitaly International brought a selection of award-winning wines.
