Hospitality industry has grown exponentially in Asia, as a result of blossoming tourism and urban expansion. In this scenario, Hotelex has seized this opportunity and established itself as a front-runner through improvement of overall user experience. In particular, Hotelex Shanghai (Shanghai International Hotel Equipment and Supply Expo 29th March – 1st April, 2016) is a professional trade show which, over 24 years, has become the Asian hub, gaining the higher achievement and progress in both hospitality and catering industry. Guided by the Shanghai Tourism Bureau, it is organized by China Tourism Hotel Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International ExhibitionHotelex had grown from simply concentrating on hospitality and catering utilities to focus on the whole hospitality industrial chain from multiple angles, consistently towards food and drink as well as  the industrial trend of innovation. This is the reason why innovation is the lasting purpose for upcoming edition’s programme. 

In all, last yearthe number of exhibitors,  from 130 countries and regions worldwide, reached 2,082, increasing up to 30.13%compared to the previous edition. It is true that most of the domestic companies and products came from east China, South China, North China, and Northeast. But, at the same time, the figure shows that 39.18% of exhibits were overseas brands and came from Hong Kong, Marco, Taiwan, Europe, East Asian, North America. 

The organizers announced that they will bring to Hotelex Shanghai the World Coffee Events during next edition 2016, with World Latte Art Championship, World Cup Taster Championship, World Coffee Roasting Championship, and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.  World Coffee Events is the premier producer of events for the coffee community worldwide. ” The World Coffee Events feels strongly that these events will prove a major success in China with the support of the local specialty coffee community,” said by Cindy Ludvikson, Managing Director of World Coffee Events (WCE). And  Wang Mingliang, founder and director of UBM Sinoexpo added: “We are very honoured to be the host of WCE competitions and we will go all out to provide the best stage”Meanwhile, China Barista Championship and China Brewers Cup final will also be held at Hotelex 2016
